Born out of the dream to bring back the awe of campfire stories from childhood's past, Story Camp’s craft is in the art of telling a damn good story. Vanessa is a Senior Creative Producer, Cinematographer and Writer working in branded media, narrative film, and documentary television.
Vanessa graduated from Regents University in London, England with a MFA in Screenwriting. After several years as a coordinator in the NYC indie film scene and her first taste of branded media was at Reuters in New York City as a producer, where she oversaw international media communications.
“Creativity takes courage.”
Her growing resume landed her in-house opportunities at Fridays Films in San Francisco and Spark Branding House in Tampa -- and she now heads her own creative content agency and works as Senior Creative producer alongside major NY, LA, and Toronto agencies and has conceptualized and produced ads for Fortune 500 companies, startup clients, and public agencies.
A talent creative producer, Vanessa works in creative development and works with production companies and tv directors to co-create and develop television concepts, in narrative and nonfiction media and has worked to co-create docu-series and director treatments for networks such as The Discovery Channel, UniversalTV, and Youtube TV.
She is an award-winning screenwriter and has had her work optioned with UK and US production companies, and is a self-published author.
She is passionate about diversity-first projects and keeping the crew caffeinated with craft coffee.
